Application Chart (Use the Blade Shaft/Spindle RPM chart above)

For this horsepower range, using blade sizes 12" to 20", follow these recommendations.

A. Use blades marked economical and/or free cutting for good overall cutting of mixed granites.

For this horsepower range you can use most any blade in the 12" to 20" size range.

A. Economical and free cutting blades will get faster cuts and smoother, straighter edges.
The trade-off can be lower life, in most cases.

B. General purpose blades will give good overall cuts and average speed-of-cut plus longer life cutting of mixed granites, in most cases.

C. Mammoth premium blades are for longer life in mixed granites with all the same cutting characteristics as B, in most cases.

For this horsepower range, using blade sizes 12" to 20", follow these recommendations.

A. Start with the economical blades for free cutting in mixed granites, in most cases.

B. General purpose, longer life blades for good cutting in mixed granites, in most cases.

C. Mammoth premium blades for maximum life in mixed granites with the same cutting characteristics as in B, in most cases.

For blades larger than 20", call for details.

Water Flow and Volume
Water flow and volume is very important to the performance of your blade. Never run your diamond blade dry unless it is designed to be run dry. However, by changing the amount of water, one can alter the blades cutting characteristics.
